Mexican Skeletons

An overabundance of rocks washed down our rivers during the floods and we're putting them to good use.
These little guys are on their way to becoming Mexican style whimsical skulls like those used in the Mexican Day of the Dead celebration.  They're still in their early stages and have many embellishments to come....paint markers, glitter paint, sequins will turn up the heat.
Couldn't resist sharing a sneak peak.

  6. Barb, been listening to the news about the southern Vt. teacher strike. Does any of this affect you, either where you teach or where your kids go to school? Sounds like a real mess...

  7. Thanks for the encouragement, friends and for your kind words.

Yep Phyl, in my town teacher's are on strike. It's a bit of a mess, but two years is a long time to be without a contract.

Kid's will be in school all summer long if it's not resolved soon.
