I'm adding this to my list of cool things I can do in PhotoShop. Here's how to do it...
1. Open your image
2. Select> All
3. Edit> Copy
4. Image>Canvas Resize> Shift focal point to left center> 200% wide> Enter
5. Edit> Paste
6 Edit> Transform> Filp
Horizontal
7. Use move tool at top left
tool bar to position image
8. Layer> Flatten Image
Save.
